"Elmaes are a five piece from Brighton in the UK. We collaborate on individual pieces that reflect our interests under the vague direction of the Cheesemaster. The Sitar is played by Chris Cook, who works as Hot Roddy and Same Actor. He has a cd being issued on BipHop label from France and several cd-rs available from the "Heres my card" label and also some tracks on Wrong Music releases. He also plays many other instruments, but not for us. The Tabla's are played by Marcus Laffan, Brighton's foremost nine fingered percussionist. Marcus has a long and illustrious career, including an LP for McDermotts Two Hours, of which he was a founding member. He has also worked extensively with Ben Paley and Tab Hunter, very fine folk musicians of international renown. The counting that forms the spine of the track is by Ta King, who also provides one of the voices, the other's being the Cheesemaster, Marcus and Caleb Madden. Ta also takes photographs. Caleb Madden also did the production and mix, he is a member of Waxed Apple, who should really have more music around than the tracks available from the Spirit of Gravity."
